In operation
Development and Maintenance of the Maritime High-Precision PNT System
We operate the Maritime High-Precision PNT System, the GNSS correction service system of the National Maritime PNT Office.
From 2020 to 2024, InSpace carried out the R&D project 'Development of Ground-Based Centimeter-Level Maritime Precise PNT Technology' together with the Korea Research Institute of Ships and Ocean Engineering (KRISO).
Through this project we developed the Maritime High-Precision PNT System, and the core technology was transferred to KRISO.
In 2025 the system was handed over to the National Maritime PNT Office, and after a trial operation it is now in full operation.
The system uses the PPP-RTK method, and to provide a more stable and more precise correction service,
we plan to introduce data from Europe's Galileo satellites in addition to the US GPS satellites.
